SXSW Hip Hop: Artifacts at SXSW Music 2011

After a 13-year split, the Artifacts, the New Jersey group consisting of El Da SenseiTame One and DJ Kaos, have gotten back together. The group, responsible for underground classics such as “Wrong Side of the Tracks,” remianed amicable, and after a brief, but chemistry-filled reunion at the Rock Steady Crew anniversary and at the closing of the New York Fat Beats record store, the two MCs decided to get back to doing what they did best, as Tame One told Adam “B-List” Bernard, “The current state of the music game made us want to try to make a difference.”
