The rapid-fire, tongue-twisting rap duo Das EFX celebrates 25 years since the release of their seminal album, Dead Serious with a star-studded show at NYC’s B.B. King Blues Club & Grill.
The album, which produced classic hip-hop staples including “They Want EFX” and “Mic Checka,” received 4 Mics in The Source, with commentary lauding these inventive MCs: “Not only have they innovated a new rhyme flow … but they have brought back fun filled hip-hop.”
The two commemorate their legacy April 6th at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill on 42nd Street in New York, bringing along fabled Queens wordsmith AZ and turntable technician, DJ Scratch. Surprise guests should abound as all three acts have an enormous extended circle of associates and respect from hip-hop heavyweights.
Tickets begin at $20, a bargain for catching some of the genre’s most energetic, talented and heralded verbal acrobats, along with DJ Scratch’s nearly unparalleled entertainment factor on the 1s and 2s.
In fact, we want you to experience this show so much, that we’ve arranged to give away FOUR PAIRS of tickets to the show.
Simply fill out the form below, and we’ll pick and alert winners by the end of Wednesday, April 5.
