Unfortunately, the I Got Life residency has been canceled.
Dice Raw, accomplished performer/songwriter/producer best known for his frequent collaborations with The Roots, will be heading up a month-long, weekly residency at village hotspot, (le) poisson rouge, highlighting artists from multiple genres in celebration of Black Music Month.
TICKETS: June 2 | June 9 | June 16 | June 23
Along with a rotating cast of top tier musicians, each edition of the “I Got Life” show series will feature a cohort of carefully curated performers, representing several points across the musical spectrum.
Aside from his work with The Roots, Philadelphia native Dice Raw has been hosting similar events throughout New York City, including a well-received run at Harlem’s Gin Fizz. Audiences have been delighted by a smorgasbord of talented vocalists, rappers, poets and musicians, enveloped in a feel-good, we’re-here-for-the-live-music-and-a-good-time vibe reminiscent of back-in-the-day jazz clubs and speakeasys.

While a couple of shows in the series are teasing special ‘surprise guest’ headliners, looking at the initial release, any one of these events already boasts a formidably talented lineup.
