Making his first appearance on Kool G Rap’s album Roots of Evil, this Brooklyn-born-and-bred wordsmith may have had a few hits and misses throughout the course of his career, but he hit it out of Battery Park when he married Bronx-born-and-bred Remy Ma, who proved, after her recent jail stint, that she really is about that life. Since then, this couple shined as a bright example of true love and “ride or die” when Papoose stayed loyal to Remy throughout her entire bid in the clink.

The Dipset general is Harlem through and through, and it takes a special kind of beauty to tame this beast. Fortunately, Cam’s found that lovely lady in his fiancee Juju, with whom he engages in hilarious Instagram moments that hit the World Wide Blogs every time they get posted. Hey ma!

Reverend Run & Justine Simmons

The Queens elder statesman of hip hop is one-third of the legendary Run-DMC, who has since gotten “Down with the King” since retiring from the mic. But every King needs his Queen, and Joseph Ward Simmons found his in his long-time wife Justine, with whom he shares children… and HGTV shows!

S Dot Carter is a Brooklyn boy done good… and he did even better when he married Miss Beyonce Knowles. What makes this power couple leaps and bounds above the rest is the fact that they not only compliment each other, they enhance each other. Jay Z’s successful crossover into the mainstream of pop culture is due, in no small part, to his wife and the mother of the beautiful Blue Ivy… and Beyonce’s music successfully launched away from the teenybopper-type pop that Destiny’s Child was known for when she became Mrs. Carter.
