Bobby Shmurda Jail Interview

Bobby Shmurda, the young Brooklyn upstart who catapulted to rap fame on the strength of his “Hot Ni**a” song and viral vine video, went from the high of receiving a major label record deal, to the low of being arrested and charged with multiple counts of serious crimes, including conspiracy charges that could see the young rapper sentenced to decades in prison.

Bobby Shmurda’s arrest has sparked much dialog in the hip hop community, particularly in regards to his gruff, street life demeanor which was fully evident — some would say on display — in his “Hot Ni**a” song and subsequent Shmurda She Wrote EP.

However you feel about Bobby Shmurda and his music, it was not his music that put him in jail.
