Pro Era - Brown Bag AllStars album

Expect a slew of smooth, buttery boom-bap production goodness and stylish wordplay as the Pro Era crew team up with the Brown Bag AllStars, led by a cooperative effort between PE’s A La $ole and BBAS’s J57.

Brown Bag AllStars, perennial favorites around the Birthplace Magazine offices, and Pro Era, certainly one of today’s most promising collectives, will combine forces on an as-yet-untitled album, set for release on Brooklyn-based Coalmine Records.

Coalmine Records’ C.E.O Matt Diamond say, “I’m proud that we were able to connect A La $ole with J57. We wanted to make sure that they would each be a great fit, both musically and from a relationship standpoint, before we put pen to paper, and I’m very excited to show a new generation of Hip-Hop fans what these two talented forces can come up with.”

The album is due out in march. We’ll bring you more info as it becomes available.
