Action Bronson brings classic, go hard, freestyle flavor back to Funkmaster Flex and Hot 97
Action Bronson lit up the microphone with a display of the witty verbal treats he’s been slinging heavy around the underground hip hop scene for the past few years. Despite being a subject of hip hop gossipmongers lately due to his online spar with Harlem’s Azaelia Banks, the Queens chef-slash-MC laid down a bunch of bars for the Funk Flex audience.

Action Bronson was set to be a mixtape-comeback of sorts for Funkmaster Flex, or at least that’s what the longtime Hot 97 flagship spinner was proclaiming last year, but judging by the attention and praise Flex was laying down, we’d be surprised if there wasn’t some form of business affiliation between the two.

In any event, Bronson hasn’t slowed down his ascension in recent months, touring the nation and the world off of the strength of his mixtapes and comically-clever videos, like 2014’s “Easy Rider.”
2015 will see Action Bronson’s first official release, his debut album Mr. Wonderful is set for a March 24 release through Vice’s label.
