The 2015 Best Rap Album Grammy Nominations Are The Best Ever!

This year’s Best Rap Album category for The Grammys is the best Best Rap Album category maybe since the beginning of time. And here’s why, some reasons that even though people are all, “This is hip hop’s worst music year,” I say, “No way!”

Childish Gambino – Because The Internet

How clever is Childish Gambino! He became musically famous because of the internet. And so he named his album it! BRILLIANT! Sometimes, he even gets into emotional arguments with I think non-existent invisible people on the internet, and just the other week maybe, he disappeared from it! How Childish! And he was friend zoned by the famous pretty singer Zaahanay Iko, not sure how to spell that! Not very Gambino, but what a career to be able to eat popcorn with and paint Jahnney Ahiko’s toes and stuff! So even though he was really known because the TV, his songs like “3005” were really good. 3005 may even be when he wins! Anyway, if you say he is bad, you are Mufasa.

Common – Nobody’s Smiling

Common, not “come on!” is an older school rapper that had a couple of good albums and some weird ones. He is often looked at like a smart, “conscious” rapper, and even got invited to the White House once to say some poetry that white people were mad about. That was crazy! A rapper doing poems! Anyway, even though maybe 26 people knew he made Nobody’s Listening, he probably has great songs of consciousness on it. And when was the last time the Grammys had a “conscious” rapper in the Best Rap Album category? Well, 2013 had Lupe Fiasco, but he didn’t win. Luckily, this year we have Common to not win!

Schoolboy Q – Oxymoron

Schoolboy Q had an amazing album this year! But he already won Man of the Year, so I don’t think he is eligible for a Grammy.

Wiz Khalifa – Blacc Hollywood

Luckily, Wiz Khalifa didn’t name his album North Korean Hollywood, or forget it. This stoner favorite had a good album and his songs were played on white people music stations, which is something Grammy songs have to do, even rap songs. It doesn’t make any sense. Country songs win without being played next to Tove Lo. So, he might win because of that, and even though he lost his super hot wife, he won super hot TWINS, so man is he good at winning!

Eminem – The Marshall Mathers LP2

Eminem won more Grammys than other white rappers because he is the best. Even his bad albums win. If the Grammy judge albums by most words smushed together, he will win again! If they judge them on palest rapper, they may have trouble this year.

Iggy Azalea – The New Classic

The Grammys must love her, because her music was everywhere! On rap radio, on pop radio, on talk radio, on news radio… It MUST be good! Even if a company forced it on everyone like bad vegetables, everyone loved it anyway! And when have you seen a rapper look like a yeast infection???? Not look like they HAVE one, actually look LIKE one! She called her album The New Classic. Based on album titles, that’s a winner right there! All non-jokes aside, the Grammys always judge on things you wouldn’t expect, like ability to badly imitate a Southern Black American country drawl, not on things like talent, so she is in good hands.
