A$AP Rocky Documentary ‘SVDDXNLY’ Set For VICE/Noisey.com Release, Starting August 5

ASAP Rocky documentary / ASAP Mob

A five-part documentary series on the career of Harlem’s A$AP Rocky is set for release beginning August 5. The announcement, by VICE music channel Noisey.com, promises SVDDXNLY will be “an in-depth, candid look at the lives and careers of rapper A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob.”

A$AP Rocky rode a buzz of attention to his 2011 release of Live.Love.A$AP, while members of his extended musical family, the A$AP Mob have also branched out in the years since. The documentary promises in-depth, behind-the-scenes access, including exclusive interviews with the crew and their families, as well as other entertainment figures such as Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Macklemore and others.

A$AP Rocky has recently been in the news for less flattering reasons, as he is currently the subject of a lawsuit alleging that the performer struck a fan, Lisamarie Wade, during an appearance at the 2012 Made In America concert. The gossip news website TMZ states that Wade is seeking $75,000 in damages.

The VICE/Noisey.com documentary, SVDDXNLY, is set to debut on August 5 on Noisey.com, and will be split into 5 parts. The trailer can be viewed below.
