Resorts World Casino Welcomes Hip Hop Legends For Mega Concert Event

Seeing a great old-school flavored hip hop show at NYC’s Resorts World casino is a win-win proposition.

Resorts World New York City will host Legends of Hip Hop Vol. 1, a concert event featuring iconic hip hop artists and DJs. The event takes place Saturday, March 15, 2014 and will include performances by Naughty By Nature, Kurtis Blow, Black Sheep, DJ Kool, Marley Marl and Scribble.

legends-of-hip-hop-resorts-worldThe remarkable entertainment venue, which officially opened in October, 2011 on the well-known Aqueduct site in South Ozone Park, Queens, has welcomed several large-scale events to go along with the monstrous amount of casino gaming, including concerts, boxing and community events.

Legends of Hip Hop, Vol. 1 is the venue’s first hip hop concert, and includes a formidable lineup of classic New York-flavored rap music veterans, all of which continue to actively tour the world. Acclaimed DJ and producer Marley Marl is an ongoing presence on the New York scene, in part due to his weekly radio show on WBLS-FM, Golden Era Radio.

Doors open at 8:00 P.M., show time is scheduled for 9:00 P.M. The event will be hosted by Ray Dijon, of Video Music Box fame.
