R.A. The Rugged Man can certainly be rugged, but even the rugged one has a heart.
In the Douglas Quill-directed “Still Get Through The Day,” R.A. gets personal with some true-life tales that are both heartbreaking and inspirational.
R.A. speaks on the death of his handicapped siblings and other difficulties, while finding a way to remain positive and prayerful. Often, rap that tries to be uplifting ends up being extra preachy, but not so for “Still Get Through The Day,” as the honestly that shines through provides a gripping account of his own trials and tribulations, humanizing the veteran MC in an endearing way.
The soulful crooning of Eamon on the Ayatollah-produced track all come together into one touching look into the life of R.A. The Rugged Man, one that many can undoubtedly relate to.
“Still Get Through The Day” is from R.A. The Rugged Man’s latest album, Legends Never Die, available through his website.
