Hot 97’s DJ Mister Cee paid tribute to Bob Marley with a Birthday Tribute Mix dedicated to the reggae superstar

DJ Mister Cee, noontime DJ for New York’s Hot 97, has made a name for himself in several ways, including his well thought-out, gone-but-not-forgotten “tribute mixes,” dedicated to some of music’s most iconic fallen figures.

Airing on Hot 97 during his slot on the birthday or anniversary of the death of artists like Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Big L, Aaliyah, Jam Master Jay and others, Mister Cee spin tracks by, or in some cases, referencing, the late performer.

The latest in his series, a tribute mix to the late Bob Marley, on his birthday. The reggae superstar was born on February 6, 1945. He died in 1981.
