Young Guru teaching at USC

Acclaimed music engineer Young Guru graced the classrooms of USC, beginning his role as artist-in-residence, instructor and consultant with the school, lending his expertise in modern music production to the school’s curriculum.

A video recap shows Young Guru at work, feedback from students and school administrators giving an idea as to what they are looking for from the collaboration.

“We specifically want him to consult and help us develop a new degree program in music production,” explains Chris Sampson, Vice Dean of Contemporary Music at USC’s Thornton School of Music.

Young Guru often lectures about music, production, technology and his experience in the music business.

We wish him well in this new endeavor.
