Joey Bada$$ – ‘My Yout’ (Video)

Adding to the flurry of Joey Badass activity in the last few days, the Brooklyn representative unleashes the video for “My Yout,” taking it back to his Caribbean roots.

The St. Lucian (we believe) scenery is fittingly badass, and the overall vibe melds with Joey Bad’s characteristically smooth style. Musically, the track is laid-back, twinged with an breezy island-feel, the kind of music that makes us New Yorkers pine for a vacation.

“My Yout” is a part of the EP version of Badass’s Summer Knights project, originally released over the summer as a mixtape, and now re-released as an EP. The Summer Knights EP includes some tracks from the mixtape, as well as a couple new tracks, including the remix version of “My Yout,” and “My Jeep,” featuring Chuck Strangers, Meechy Darko from Flatbush Zombies and Issa Gold from The Underachievers.
