Brooklyn hip hop upstart Joey Bada$$ enlists fellow pro era colleague Chuck Strangers, Meechy Darko from the Flatbush Zombies collective and Issa Gold from The Underachievers for “My Jeep,” off of Bada$$’s Summer Knights EP (not to be confused with his Summer Knights mixtape, released earlier this year.)
The Summer Knights EP will feature a few cuts from the mixtape, and a couple new tracks, including “My Jeep.” It will be available as of October 29, 2013 on iTunes.
Just recently, Joey Bada$$ criticized the media for classifying him as a strictly “90s” style rapper, telling a HipHopDX interviewer, “you’re one of those interviewers who continue to pigeonhole me into this ‘90s era box.”
“This is fresh new music,” he said.
