Never anything wrong with some gritty, New York rap shit-talking. Especially when it’s not overdone, which some of the parties involved have been known to do from time to time. But in this case, from the John Scino-produced beat, to the lyrics and their delivery, this is cooked up just right.
And not for nothing, others are going to focus on the Kendrick Lamar line, but for us, the ONLY full-time advocates of New York hip hop, we like a lot of what’s represented throughout.
