Angel Haze – No Bueno (Video)

We’d prefer Angel sticks to the deeper lyrics she flexed on her Reservation EP and in “Cleaning Out My Closest,” but hopefully the braggadocios-over-a-fairly-typical-track will lead folks to her, and then BOOM, she’ll drop her extradopeness on them.

We’re no saints, but it almost sounds like “No Bueno” is a little too vulgar-for-the-sake-of-being-vulgar. Shock value stuff.

Angel Haze doesn’t need that. Her flow when speaking topical is commanding, and even when she’s being cocky, she’s done so without having to rely on crutch words or phrases.

That being said, we’re still pretty confident about what this Michigan transplant is capable of, so we’ll chalk this up to different strokes for different folks.

For now, it’s ok. At least the video is weirdly entertaining.
