West Coast hip hop icon Too $hort visits New York City to lay down his signature raunchy style and flow, and we’re giving away tickets to the show!
Too $hort will slide into town on May 2, along with a line up of MCs including Greedy, Reggie Mills, Stacc Decc, Chipz da General, Panama Red, Rhyme Republic and Xtra.
The concert pay testimony to the staying power of “the godfather of Bay Area hip-hop,” now clocking in at over 30 years in the game. Despite a gang of albums released (19, according to his bio, 10 that reached gold or platinum), his biggest hit-to-date, “Blow The Whistle,” wasn’t that long ago.
$hort Dog will appear at Stage 48, the fantastic new Manhattan venue that’s been hosting several major concerts, and showing hip hop a lot of love.
In fact, the fine folks at Stage 48 were kind enough to bless us with a couple of pairs of tickets to give to our faithful readers!
Simply hit us up below, and we’ll pick two names randomly. We’ll let you know about a day in advance.
