Rabbi Darkside – ‘Prospect Avenue’ Album Release Party – April 19, 2013 at Littlefield

Rabbi Darkside will host an entertainment-packed album release event to celebrate the successful completion of a $10,000 Kickstarter.com campaign to fund Prospect Avenue, the new solo album from the Brooklyn-based hip hop artist and educator. As Rabbi Darkside describes it, Prospect Avenue, two years in the making, consists of “stories of teaching, learning and evolving in new millennium Brooklyn.”

The Kickstarter campaign to fund Prospect Avenue included provisions to create a double-LP vinyl version of the album, a soft-cover lyrics book (with artwork done by Rabbi Darkside’s grandmother), limited edition screen printing of the cover art, a PR campaign and two videos.

The album includes guest features from Homeboy Sandman, Rob Swift, IllSpokinn, Core Rhythm, Brother Hamm and Mariella, with production from Da Beatminerz, Nickodemus, Mista Mayday and Sid Suna, among others.

To celebrate the release of Prospect Avenue, Rabbi Darkside will host an album release event, complete with guest performances, live artwork, giveaways and more.
