The NY Hip Hop Report – ‘Welcome to 2013’ – Episode 034 (New York Hip Hop Talk Radio)

Weekly hip hop talk radio program The NY Hip Hop Report continued into the new year with their 34th episode, as show hosts Manny Faces and Steven Ortiz of Birthplace Magazine spoke on several topics of the moment, including a recent article featuring Nas on CNN, recent music by rap veterans such as LL Cool J and N.O.R.E., brought up other recent posts from BirthplaceMag.com, including new music from Papoose, Jean Grae and others.

As always, interaction from callers was welcomed, and the show received calls from listeners and artists such as FinaL OutlaW and Just Putt.

During the episode, upcoming events in the New York-area hip hop event calendar were discussed and previewed, including Mobile Mondays, a Nas interview orchestrated by the folks at 92nd Street Y and a Dead Poets Music Society showcase in New Jersey.
