UPDATE: Due to the weather, this show has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 8, same time. Tickets purchased (and won) for this date will be honored at that date.
Well, well, well. Some of those Shady 2.0 Boys are rolling into a new hotspot in the County of Kings, and bringing some hip hop heavyweights along for the ride. The spot is called The Well, and Slaughterhouse, along with Freeway and Pharoahe Monch will appear there on Friday, August 10.
Those who know us, know we’ve always spoken highly of Slaughterhouse members Joell Ortiz (“5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck,” June. 2010) and Joe Budden (“5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck,” Oct. 2010), and of course their comrades in linguistic arms, Crooked I and Royce the 5’9″ are no slackers either. Pharoahe Monch is considered one of the premier lyricists with a nearly unparalleled delivery, and is always worth seeing, while Philadelphia kingpin Freeway has a catalog of hits to unleash.
The best part? Not only will we be in the house, but Birthplace Magazine has two pairs of tickets to give away!
Join us, August 10, as Slaughterhouse, Freeway, Pharoahe Monch, LAD & Willie The Kid, J The S, Da Circle and Paul Marz hit up The Well, located at 272 Meserole Street, in Brooklyn. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., show goes until 10:00 p.m. You must be 18 to enter.
And if you’re afraid you won’t win, you can still get to go, the old-fashioned way. Swing on over to TicketFly for tickets.
To enter for the freebies, fill out the quick form below. Only one entry per person is needed, winners will be picked randomly & notified by the end of day August 8.
