Poetic and smoothly eclectic Fresh Daily dropped a free album back in March, so I’ll need a late pass on this one. Nevertheless, better late than never, and it’s never too late for some smooth grooves and smart wordplay, delivered fresh by Mr. Daily, as evidenced in the video for “G.G.G. (Okay, Okay),” from the aforementioned album, The Brooklyn Good Guy.
Recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio and co-presented by Complex, The Brooklyn Good Guy features guest appearances by Murs, Om’mas Keith and Black Spade, among others, with production laced by Benamin, Jinesis and Shigeto.
The video for “G.G.G. (Okay, Okay)” was directed by Ryan Wick.
Those familiar with Fresh Daily know that the Brooklyn MC’s creativity extends past the margin, as he is known also for his work in graphic and fashion design.
For those who like a bit of musical experimentation, mixed with flavorful linguistics and stylistic wordplay, Fresh Daily might just be the good guy from Brooklyn that your playlist needs.
