Starting with The Audible Doctor‘s remix of “Keep Getting That Paper,” by recently reinvigorated Queens duo Mobb Deep, along with long time affiliate Rapper Noyd. Based on the title, you might imagine this to be a typical Mobb joint, tales of street thuggery and all, and you’d be pretty much right, though lyrically it attempts to be a bit more introspective then narrative.

Regardless, the highlight is the track, and while anybody reasonably competent would sounds good over this piano-laden headbanger, it really brings out the best in these vocalists, and adds to The Audible Doctor’s ever-growing repertoire of dope beats. Many are saved for his Brown Bag AllStar collective, but luckily, folks like Mobb Deep and Joell Ortiz have taken notice of the beatsmith’s skills behind the boards, and continue to provide Doc the the opportunities needed to excel.
