New Jersey MC Cymarshall Law reconnects with Hungarian producer Mr. Joeker drop Hip Hop in the Soul 2, an 18-track album that should be a good listen, based on the generally good feedback regarding their prior collaborative effort, Hip Hop in the Soul.
Indeed, based on the energy and vibe of the very first track, “How I Feel,” featuring Elsadie Smith, is a great starting point, and with a strong voice and delivery reminiscent of the D.O.C., Cymarshall Law sounds very comfortable on this project.
Too much music gets a glancing listen these days, but by the sound of the first few tracks on Hip Hop In The Soul 2, this appears to be music worth spending some time absorbing. I plan to let this one rock a little bit and come back to tell you about it, but in the meantime, feel free to cop Hip Hop in the Soul 2 yourself over on iTunes or at Bandcamp.
