Maino drops the video for “Glad To Be Alive,” a track from his previous Art of War mixtape, a thoughtful, reflective joint produced by GQ Beats.
The Jamal Samuel-directed “Glad To Be Alive” video mirrors the introspective feel of the song, as Maino builds about surviving some of the drama he and those around him have had to endure.
Maino’s next album The Day After Tomorrow is due to be released November 1, 2011.
Recently, HipHopWired spoke to Maino about his come up, his next album and his label situation. Maino is currently also enjoying a bit of radi play, courtesy of “I’m About Cream,” a collaboration with Lil Wayne, and a prelude to the album, a mixtape titled I Am Who I Am: The Album Before The Album, is expected to drop shortly.
