Few can take a cliche word from the overused hip hop vernacular and still make it sound good, but Jadakiss is one of them, bringing his trademark voice and gritty flow to “Grind,” presumably a track from Jadakiss’ forthcoming project.
Producer Bink lays the sonic foundation for “Grind,” a fuzzy, gritty, slow-rolling headnodder while Jadakiss spits his brand of self-aggrandizing bars while his signature vocal tone punctuates the track nicely.
“Grind” is solid, though nothing out of the ordinary. Typical Jada, which is not a bad thing, it just is.
