Estelle ‘Break My Heart’ Remix Pt. 1 ft. Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes

Sultry songstress Estelle enlists Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes (and a few recycled hip hop beats) for the smoothed out remix to “Break My Heart.” The original version featured Rick Ross. The remix also features Estelle. Huh? Read on.


Swizz Beatz drops a few insignificant Swizz Beatz-like adlibs at the beginning, as the song’s chords daintily ride the classic sample made famous by EPMD “You’s A Customer,” while occasional “Make The Music With Your Mouth Biz”/”Best of Me (Remix)” snares kick in every now and then.

Jadakiss follows with Busta Rhymes next, both nicely sticking to the vibe of the song. A beat flip utilizing the “Top Billin'” drum riff, and Miss Estelle herself spits a quick 16, quite capably as a matter of fact.

Except for the Swizz Beat adlibs, this remix works for us.
