Raekwon and Nas team up for “Rich & Black,” from Raekwon’s latest release Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, released in March 2011. The video, filmed in Norway during the duo’s stint in the country, shows behind-the-scenes action and elated audiences rocking along with two of New York’s finest.
The sparse violin/drum track provides a perfect foundation for fiery, gritty delivery by both MCs, who spit while enjoying a bit of the hip hop good life: drinking, partying, rhyming and performing for large crowds.
The WoodWorks-directed video, presented by LRG, clocks in at just over three minutes, but judging by comments scattered througout the internet, leaves fans wishing for more collaborations from the two rhyme juggernauts.
The “Rich & Black” video comes on the heels of a two-part video series, The Rich & Black Chronicles, where Raekwon and (mostly) Nas spoke about their history together and fashion, and throw down some verses for the camera.
