Cory Gunz Mixtape: ‘Son of a Gun’

Cory Gunz releases Son of a Gun, his latest mixtape, featuring, among others, Uncle Murda, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine, Meek Millz, Juicy J and Schoolboy Q and mixed by DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar. Now, our biggest beef in the past with the unquestionably talented, rapid-fire wordsmith was his pandering to a Southern style of music, even when that music didn’t do much for him. Well, it let him to a deal with Young Money, so what do we know. In any case, it’s going to be interesting to delve in and check out what the young gunner brings to the table with Son of a Gun.

The mixtape comes on the heels of the MTV documentary of the same name, which looked at that signing, and other events in the life of the upcoming artist.
