The Underdogz - Whuttup Doe? AlbumThe Underdogz (Otis Clapp, Warren Britt)
Wuttup Doe? [ALBUM]

The gritty attitude and dry sense of humor of Otis Clapp and the unbridled energy of Warren Britt come together on their collaborative album Whuttup Doe?, and these two New York City up and comers nicely complement each other on this solid 13-track effort. Both artists have been hustling on their own, Clapp with his solo effort Welcome II Nowhere and Britt with his The Britt Ish Is Coming, and perhaps each learned from those experiences as to what works and what doesn’t, resulting in several positives being brought to the Wuttup Doe? table. Sonically, this is an enjoyable project with varied, well-chosen production and featured appearances from several upcoming artists we’ve covered on our e-pages such as Ciph Diggy, Kalil Kash, Top $ Raz, PremRock, Kon and Silent Knight. Standouts include “Reach In,” “Opposite of Real,” “These Moves,” featuring Jeanette Berry, “Been a Long Time,” featuring veteran Juice Crew member Craig G and “You’re Scared,” featuring Silent Knight.
