Saigon dropped his anticipated release The Greatest Story Never Told earlier this year, receiving a generally positive response. Many of Saigon’s tracks delved into a delivery of positivity that danced in, but never veered too far into preachy, one of which was “Clap,” which features songstress Faith Evans, who is also a welcomed sight, after having been out of the spotlight a bit in recent years.
On a recent appearance to MTV’s RapFix Live program, Saigon premiered the video for “Clap,” directed by Fafu of Crow Magnum Films. The Just Blaze-produced track is a lively head-nodder, a perfect vehicle for Saigon’s reflection on some of the plights facing hood living. In this regard, Saigon continues flaunting his ability to provide substance with style, or as he puts it, “we don’t just make songs, we make statements.”
The Greatest Story Never Told is in stores now.
