The long-awaited (for Nicki Minaj fans anyway) video for Minaj’s “Did It On Em” premiered today via her www.MyPinkFriday.com website, adding to the Queens-bred, Young Money artist’s visual repertoire.
Minaj, who was named one of Birthplace Magazine’s 2010 year-end “5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck” has been touring heavily since her 2010 debut album Pink Friday, adding to her mainstream appeal with a slew of appearances on prominent television programs such as The Ellen Degeneres Show, Saturday Night Live and Dancing With The Stars as well as magazines such as Elle.
Nicki Minaj recently wrapped up the I Am Money II tour, alongside her Young Money mentor Lil Wayne. The tour hit the New York City area back in March. After only a brief hiatus, Nicki Minaj will return to the touring scene, teaming up with pop veteran Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour, scheduled to begin on June 17 in Sacramento, California.
The Femme Fatale tour will arrive in the New York City area on August 2, at Nassau Coliseum [buy tickets], and August 5, at the Izod Center in NJ [buy tickets].
