Mark Carranceja of Noisemaker Media

The Next Episode

While Carranceja would like branch out and do different things, his focus now is on developing a look for Noisemaker Media and developing a look for himself as a director. In his vision, Noisemaker is his platform and he is the artist.

“I want Noisemaker to really expand, where I have other directors working with me and we create a multitude of content, not just music videos, but commercial work, documentary style projects, behind-the-scenes stuff with record labels… I want it to be a solid platform where we could sell these services and still maintain a specific look and high quality.”

Carranceja doesn’t want the up and coming artists he works with to worry about succeeding immediately. If they are good enough, he feels, they will succeed eventually.

In the meantime, Carrancejas’s video shoots are about enjoying the moment and having a great on-set experience, which may explain why repeat customers like Rugged N Raw, Hasan Salaam, and Da Circle keep coming back for more.

“Maybe it’s because I’m a cool guy,” he jokes. “I keep it real with them, and won’t let them get out of control with their dreaming. They can dream, but tone it down.”

It is this attitude that exemplifies Carranceja’s sincere approach to his work, and the artists he works with, summing it with a simple, but sincere mantra.

“I think being honest and not compromising integrity is the key thing to having a successful professional relationship with anybody.”
