J. Rose ft. Dama Nilz – Like Her
We stumbled across this track and video a long time ago, so we need a late pass on this one, and you do too. We’ve been keeping a close eye on these artists, and this video was the reason we got intrigued. With George Burnz on the beats, J. Rose and Dama Nilz caught our ear (and eye), while Logrithmic & J. Rose co-direct a visual counterpart that complements the track’s concept perfectly. We hear a joint effort as well as solo projects are in the works from these two dynamic damsels, and don’t worry, we won’t wait so long to share next time.
Rakim – Live at West NYC
The God MC has a collaborative T-Shirt effort going on with Milkcrate Athletics, and commemorated the launch at West NYC with a short performance for the crowd. Always good to see the R do his thing. (We have a bunch of up close and personal footage from Rakim’s 2010 homecoming concert on Long Island as well, if you’re into that sort of thing.)
