We posted T.Shirt‘s track “24 Frames (Movie Night)” a while back. In it, T.Shirt spits the titles to 120 movies in a cleverly cohesive manner. It’s a pretty hefty lyrical feat, and he did it well. Since we’re a sucker for a well-executed concept song, we took to it right away.
Now, the good folks at Hot Mop Films have helped T.Shirt introduce a visual counterpart to the song, as Dred and Ronin of Hot Mop directed a one-shot video, filmed at the historical Angelika Theater, in SoHo.
Starring alongside T.Shirt, a playfully alluring Klazina Crawford, and the video features cameos by various artists and producers, including Darvin Silva, twin rockband, The Astor Kings, Osa and street artists URNEWYORK. “24 Frames (Movie Night)” appeared on T.Shirt’s Tan-Face Children EP (free download here).
Again, we like the creativity both in the music and the one-take video accompanying it. Check it out, and check out more from T.Shirt at www.illrapper.com.
