Rich Lowe, Livewire, Wordspit – Look At Me Now [Freestyle]

Ran into Wordspit, one the harder working men in the underground NYC hip hop show business, at YC The Cynic’s (very awesome) Fall FWD mixtape release party. Hipped me to his freestyle with fellow Brooklynites Rich Lowe and Livewire, over Chris Brown/Busta Rhymes/Lil’ Wayne track “Look At Me Now.” Took a listen, good stuff, so I wanted to make sure I shared with all you good folks.

Although I don’t really like the original.

Although I DO like the Angie Martinez-kinda-killed-it Hot 97 in-studio karaoke video version.

Wordspit always comes correct, as we have featured him in the past and expect to continue to do so for some time to come, but I hadn’t really heard from Rich Lowe and Livewire before. They did their thing on this, so I’ll be checking more into what they’re working with.
