N.A.B: Describe Nellz Da Rockstar in three words.

Nellz Da Rockstar: Reviving, determined, and confident!

N.A.B: You call yourself a “rockstar,” but you’re a rap artist. What does rockstar mean to you and how does that come into play in your music?

Nellz Da Rockstar: My lifestyle… Well, it came from me running around in the streets, but I also want to start my own entertainment company called Rockstar, Inc. for people like myself.

N.A.B: When did you become Nellz Da Rockstar?

Nellz Da Rockstar: When I became a fan of Stack Bundles, because I could relate to his lyrics at times.

N.A.B: You are from Staten Island. How is S.I., talent-wise, and do you feel that it’s slept on when it comes to the New York City hip hop scene?

Nellz Da Rockstar: It’s so-so, but artists seem like they are getting their shit together and realizing it’s time for Staten Island to be heard again. We never get shouted out on the radio, a lil’ here and there, but not like it should be.

N.A.B: How do you compare your music to the music that we hear on radio stations today?

Nellz Da Rockstar: I don’t, there is no comparison.

N.A.B: Is hip hop dead to you?

Nellz Da Rockstar: No, just controlled.

N.A.B: Two words, reality or fantasy. Which describes you and your music?

Nellz Da Rockstar: Reality.

N.A.B: What is your main focus when it comes to entertaining?

Nellz Da Rockstar: Making sure you feel my energy, and get your money’s worth.

N.A.B: Are you Nellz Da Rockstar all the time?

Nellz Da Rockstar: YES!

N.A.B: What message are you trying to deliver to your fans through your music?

Nellz Da Rockstar: To not fall for the talk, don’t just do, ask questions. Never give up, because any and all is possible when you strive for your dreams and goals. Also, support and bring back real rap!

N.A.B: What is one quote you would like people to remember you by?

Nellz Da Rockstar: “He never quit!!!!”
