Lupe Fiasco’s album Lasers is (finally) in stores today, after delays and label drama repeatedly sidelined the project, and as the Washington Post points out, the story of the Lasers album may be as interesting as the material itself.
While we’ll leave the reviewing to others, there was a New York City appearance on March 7 at Webster Hall to share. Lupe Fiasco’s album release party, part of Hot 97 and Metro PCS‘ 5 Boro Takeover Tour, went down at a sold out Webster Hall, with an energetic Lupe Fiasco supported by special guests such as John Legend, Dosage and Sway with Black Milk handling opening act duties.
Most of the action was captured on video and in tons of greats pictures that can be found on Lupe Fiasco’s blog site, lupefiasco-lupend.blogspot.com. The long-awaited album is now available online and in stores.
