Eminem properly introduces his Shady Records 2.0 crew to your ears, as Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf join Eminem on “2.0 Boys,” a hyperactive track suitable for the verbal flurry that accompanies it.
Slaughterhouse, consisting of Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, (both named one of Birthplace Magazine’s “5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck“) Crooked I and Royce Da 5’9″, was long rumored to have been signed to Eminem’s Shady Records. The deal was recently confirmed. Yelawolf, one of XXL Magazine’s “Freshmen 2011” was signed to Shady Records in late 2010.
The lyrical assault rides a decent stabbing-piano-laden track, produced by Will Power, K.P. and Eminem, according to RapRadar.com, and is a pretty fitting showcase for Eminem’s up-and-coming roster.
