Cam’Ron, Vado: Girls Cry [Video] + Vado Performs at Harlem School

Going to try and rattle through a couple quick posts here, as we’ve been a little lax in putting up recent drops. No, we’re not lazy, just in demand. Nice problem to have, no?

Cam'Ron and Vado - Gunz & Butta Album Cover ArtAnyway, after the relative success of Slime Flu, conspicuously-absent-from-the-XXL-Freshmen-list Vado and proverbial big brother Cam’Ron are set to release their joint album Gunz N’ Butta on April 19th on eOne, and as a lead up to the project dropping, released the video for “Girls Cry,” a semi-playful, modern, hip hop blues track produced by AraabMuzik.

The Antwan “Shake” Smith and Max Amillion directed video plays out Cam and Vado’s collective womanly woes, then slides into a preview of the video for the duo’s current street banger, “Hey Muma,” where their troubles are quickly forgotten.

The UN’s Vado made other music business news lately, as word of his signing to Interscope circulated earlier this week. Also, check out Steph Lova’s video of Vado surprising the kids of Harlem’s Thurgood Marshall Academy with a performance and a few words of music business wisdom as part of the school’s “Showcase 4 Change.”
