Following a police raid on his recording studio in January, rapper Juelz Santana was arrested Wednesday (Feb. 2), purportedly on drug and weapons charges related to the raid. Though associate Toby “Hynief” Raynor was arrested at the time of the raid, Juelz Santana maintained that he was not in trouble, telling MTV News, “I wasn’t caught with anything in my possession.”

That may have been true at the time, but Bergen County, New Jersey prosecutors state that Santana was arrested nonetheless, and has been charged with possession of a firearm without a permit, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school zone. The prosecutor’s office says the arrest was a part of a 10-month long investigation.

According to MTV, Juelz Santana’s bail was set at $125,000, and posted an update to their story stating that Santana’s brother, Twin, had posted the bail, and that Santana was awaiting release.

The raid on Santana’s studio produced two handguns, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia.
