Fabolous stays on his “A game” rocking “all black everything” in the all-black-and-white-video for “Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing,” a visual counterpart to the song set to appear on Fabolous’s upcoming mixtape tentatively titled The S.O.U.L. Tape.
A Street Family & TPK presentation, the video for “Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing” is a fairly smoothed out affair, in tune with the musical vibe of the track, recycling the instrumental for Kanye West’s “Devil in a New Dress.” The laid back feel is in stark contrast to Fabolous’ current single, the uptempo “You Be Killin’ Em,” the video for which recycles Kanye West’s ex, Amber Rose.
In reference to the new mixtape, Fabolous told XXL, “I’m doing it over all old soul sampled beats, so I wanted to keep the world ‘soul’ within the title,” so, there’s where the purported name comes from.
The TAJ-directed video for “Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing” can be seen below. Fabolous’ next mixtape is expected out in February, 2011.
