Sha Stimuli teams up with Mickey Factz for the Gil Scott-Heron inspired “Televised Revolution,” the newest leak from Stimuli’s latest album, Vol. 1 – Garden of Eden. A smoothly frantic track provides the breakneck backdrop as Stimuli trades animated bars with Factz.
Birthplace Magazine’s A.D. The General spoke with Sha Stimuli back in April 2010, as the Brooklyn MC talked about his formidable mixtape discography, watching Biggie Smalls in the studio, as well his the upcoming plan for Unsung Vol. 1, stating at the time, “It’s going to be different from [previous album] My Soul To Keep. The music will be harder and it will still be conceptual. I’m overlooked in this game. So I’m making an album about it.”
Indeed, “Televised Revolution” is more hard than soft, both musically as lyrically. Unsung Vol. 1 – The Garden of Eden, presented by Coast2CoastMixtapes.com, features Factz, Rapper Big Pooh, Reks, Fred Da Godson, Joe Budden, Sheek Louch, Charlie Clips and Prince EA, and is currently for sale on iTunes and through Amazon.
