New York hip hop journeyman and sometimes actor Saigon teams up with Just Blaze for “The Greatest Story Never Told,” a sharp sonic and lyrical assault, scheduled to appear on Saigon’s upcoming, and long-awaited, album of the same name.
Saigon, best known for songs like “C’mon Baby” and for his stint on HBO’s Entourage, has been dropping gems here and there leading up to the February 15th release of The Greatest Story Never Told. Just Blaze’s production is featured prominently throughout the track list, and if the title track is any indication, Saigon should easily jump back to the forefront of hip hop’s consciousness.
The question will be, can Saigon re-capitalize on his past national exposure, and create a buzz outside of the tri-state? With features including Jay-Z, Bun B, Devin The Dude, Q-Tip, Swizz Beatz and Black Thought, hopes are high.
