Peter Rosenberg: Maino, Homeboy Sandman on Real Late Internet Radio Show

Real Late with Peter Rosenberg on Hot-97 with Homeboy Sandman

Peter Rosenberg welcomes Maino and Homeboy Sandman to the bi-weekly, online version of his radio show Real Late on ThisIs50.com, with video of the extended session available through uStream/ThisIs50.com.

Complete with interviews, freestyling, music and more, the video sessions hearken back to the fun, informal vibe of underground and college radio, with Rosenberg’s professionalism making sure the show doesn’t dip into the realm of sloppy internet radio.

Of course, Rosenberg is a known supporter of Homeboy Sandman (one of our year-end “5 Reasons Why New York Hip Hop Doesn’t Suck” for 2010), as we’ve seen by Rosenberg’s hosting appearance at last year’s release party for Sandman’s acclaimed album The Good Sun.

It is, however, an extremely heartwarming feeling to hear an artist like Homeboy Sandman on major air/netwaves.

Even if it is real late.

Correction: We originally incorrectly described this show as being ON Hot-97. In actuality, this was the debut of the ThisIs50.com version of Rosenberg’s weekly radio show of the same name, which does air on Hot-97. The writeup has been changed to reflect this.
