NYC Tonight – Eric Sosa: Mixtape Release Party at Greenhouse (Sponsored by reco Jeans)

Eric Sosa will be releasing his third solo full-length project, Rhyme & Noodles: No Artificial Flavoring Vol. 2 this Tuesday, January 25, 2011, with a release event being held that evening at Greenhouse, in NYC.

We’ve crossed paths with this talented Queens MC on a couple of occasions, notably as he leaped over barricades to join the crowd of onlookers at his performance for the Hip Hop Howl event in Tompkins Square Park last September. We’ve also highlighted the video for his infectious feel-good anthem, “Summer of Love,” while noticing all the while that Sosa, something of a fashion-forward artist, and his team have secured partnerships within the fashion world, including reco Jeans®, who is serving as the official sponsor of this release party.

reco Jeans® is an “eco-friendly denim company,” creating jeans from “the highest percentage of recycled denim fibers in the industry,” as well as other waste-saving methods of design and manufacturing. Noble stuff.

Eric Sosa, on the other hand, is definitely not constructed from recycled rappers, as the musically open-minded and energetic artist has shown with earlier projects, Rhyme & Noodles and Let The Pete Rock, so we are looking forward to a) attending the release event, b) hearing the goodies that Vol. 2 is likely to deliver and c) enjoy what will certainly be a spirited and memorable performance.
