Joe Budden vs. Amalgam Digital, His (Ex?)-Record Label: Twitter War of Words Erupts

It appears as if the festering animosity between Joe Budden and his (possibly ex) record label, Amalgam Digital, have now hit a cresendo, as a Twitter-war-of-words erupted tonight, with both parties bashing each other over the micro-blogging system. We’re not sure what touched off the explosive exchange, but if both sides are to be taken seriously, it seems as if Amalgam Digital is dropping Joe Budden from the label, and Joe Budden is not exactly crying about it.

Amalgam Digital seems to have started the tweet-feud, with a tweet sometime around 7:30 PM EST, stating, “We are going to have the biggest RELEASE party for Joe Budden..,” followed by the telling tweet, “RELEASING him from the label…inches away from dropping Joe Budden and finaly selling his contract off to E1. It’s almost celebration time!”

When asked by twitterers, the response was “No. Not sarcasm at all. I am really going to throw the biggest party when we drop him. A “Release” party like no other.”

Budden was silent for about an hour, before unleashing a torrent of insults toward the label. He began with, “#SlanderActivated” as an opener, quickly followed by a rapid, scathing display of e-venom, including: “Nigga u serious ?? That dog shit ass company with that dog shit ass artist ?? I made u niggaz, your office is made outta my semen”“& u idiots r over there talkin bout ‘we’re releasing Budden so we’re throwin a party’ ??? Y’all need 2 be organizing a funeral”… “The days of jerking the fans @ my expense are over, horrid mixing, incorrect spelling on covers, live streams that dont stream”… and “No verse on “session 1”, faking autographs on CD’s & merch, smh …. i’m just sayin, hope those custom jackets can float, LMAO >> @Anyextee

We’re not really sure what’s going on here, but we will be paying close attention to what happens next. The drama is nothing new, as Joe Budden and Joell Ortiz, both members of Slaughterhouse, have repeatedly has issue with both Amalgam Digital and E1, respectively, with all parties alleging shady treatment.
