Videos, pictures and rave reviews as New York City welcomed home Brooklyn’s Jay-Z and welcomed Detroit’s Eminem with open arms, as the duo took to Yankee Stadium to co-headline the second leg of their Home and Home concert events, the first occuring last month at Detroit’s Comerica Park. The concert was the first at the new Yankee Stadium, and will be followed up by a second concert Tuesday, September 14. Below is a recap of the event, and some links and videos from various sources.

A steady stream of hip hop heavyweights guest-starred with the two juggernauts, with Eminem joined by long time collaborators 50 Cent and Dr. Dre. Jay-Z delighted the 40,000+ in attendance by staging a powerhouse rendition of one of his current songs, “Monster,” with Kanye West and Nicki Minaj joining Jay-Z on stage, later bringing out Chris Martin of Coldplay, the man of the hip-hop hour, Drake, and Beyonce. Other notable appearances, Lloyd Banks, D12 and show openers J. Cole and B.o.B.

Several A-list celebs and hip hop stars were in attendance, including Samantha Ronson, Jeremy Pivin, Fabolous, Questlove, D-Nice and Donnie Wahlberg.
