Cee-Lo’s “Fuck You,” aka the came-out-of-nowhere-and-is-the-fastest-growing-everyones-new-favorite-song since that other Cee-Lo/Gnarls Barkley song a few years back, has already found it’s first freestyle addition, by none other than 50 Cent. 50 doubles up his flow a bit, and it’s only a quick burst at the beginning of the song, but he adds a unique flair like only he can, answering Cee-Lo as the victor to this love game.
Cee-Lo, the Atlanta-based hip hop soulster, is set to release The Ladykiller later this year, and aside from the popular video circulating that shows the words to “Fuck You,” there is a real-deal vid in the works as well, which should be released within the next week.
In the 50 Cent version, 50 adds his own words in the same style as the original. Now THAT’S how you do an unauthorized-add-a-verse-onto-an-established-song’s-video, dammit!
In any event, even if you don’t care much for 50’s addition, if you only now became aware of Cee-Lo’s adorable ode to lost love, consider this a win anyway.
