From back in the day on the Boulevard of Linden to South E Street on the left coast in 2010, A Tribe Called Quest can still kick it, as they showed yesterday at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, Calfornia, as part of the opening night of the muti-city Rock The Bells 2010 music festival.
Along with ATCQ, other hip hop luminaries are scheduled to perform their seminal albums in their entirety during the four-city touring festival, including Wu-Tang Clan, Rakim, Snoop Dogg and Lauryn Hill.
The Rock The Bells festival hits New York city next weekend, Aug. 28, at Governors Island, and Washington D.C. the next day, being held at the Merriweather Post Pavillion.
Tickets for the New York event can be purchased online through Tickeyfly. Check www.guerillaunion.com for more information, and enjoy the (shaky) fan video below.
